Print, alu-dibond, or frame with passepartout and glass – what are the differences?
Our photo prints are classic professional prints of the works on high-quality photo paper.
Alu-dibond
With the "on aluminum" options, the print is sealed onto 3 mm thick alu-dibond and - depending on the selected variant - protected by 2 mm acrylic glass.
The "on aluminium" variants are also available with a matte black 20 mm real wood frame and a 3 cm white motif border.
Matching hangers are attached to the back, tailored to the format and size of your configuration.
Alu-dibond gives the print stability, durability, and a modern look that harmonizes perfectly with the understated aesthetic of black and white motifs.
Passepartout frame with premium glass
If you choose a passepartout-framed print, the print will be mounted in a matte black, 20 mm thick real wood frame and a 50 mm white museum cardboard. The museum cardboard is precisely beveled and sits flush with the photo. WhiteWall passepartouts are custom-cut for your configuration and are made of acid-free and extremely lightfast museum cardboard with a white core.
Furthermore, the framed work is protected by Artglass AR from Groglass – a high-quality, anti-reflective museum glass specifically designed for the presentation of artworks. A special coating makes this glass virtually invisible and ensures an unobstructed view of the artwork.
Metal hooks are attached to the back of the frame for hanging.
